Any feedback to my query would be greatly appreciated.
We have a windows application, Clarion and Postgres, which needs to interface to other applications. The client is wanting to use web services to talk to our software. It was suggested that
Jitterbit would solve this problem.
I followed the example at http://www.jitterbit.com/PhpBB/viewtopic.php?t=123 but got stuck at the point where I have to provide the WSDL file. I thought that Jitterbit would be able to
help create the WSDL. I was able to define a WSDL using PHP but I just want clarification that my understanding is correct before I go too far and have the wrong idea about what Jitterbit
can do for us.
1) Is Jitterbit suitable for this purpose as I've described it or would creating a web service using Apache/IIS and other technology be a better fit?
2) The WSDL must be created outside of Jitterbit and used when creating a project. The WSDL would still need to be hosted on Apache/IIS while using Jitterbit.
If my understanding is flawed, please correct me.
