Modifying the SQL Where Clause in Transformations

Postby nekz on Wed Jun 21, 2006 9:22 am

Hello everyone,

Sorry if this is a noob question, but how do you modify the SQL Where Clause on existing Transformations?

I can't seem to find this anywhere in the Integration Environment GUI. I can't find a previous post of this in any forum either.

Thanks in advance,
Ken
(Other than this, the software suite ROCKS!)

Hi,

At the moment there is no way to change the WHERE clause, but we are planning to have this functionality in place in version 1.1, which is due out within a couple of weeks.

I will post a new message in this thread as soon as we have a preview of that version available for download, so that you can try it out.

Cheers,

Hi again,

We have just released a new preview of version 1.1.0:

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... _id=426881

You can now edit the transformation WHERE clause:

1. Open the transformation, e.g. by double-clicking on it;
2. In the transformation page toolbar, click on the Toolkit button (third from the right);
3. The last entry in the popup menu is "Edit WHERE clause..."

This is (obviously) only available for transformations using a database source.

Btw, you need to install the server version as well.

Let me know how it goes!

Cheers,
