Renaming file issues on FTP

Postby ntreu on Tue Aug 22, 2006 8:20 pm

I'm unable to upload a test.xml file to my server. It appears that Jitterbit uploads test.xml-upload to the server and then renames it. Is there a way to have the renaming occur on the Jitterbit server rather than via FTP?

The FTP server I'm trying to upload to doesn't grant too many rights. Once I've uploaded the file, I can't make any changes to it or delete it.

Failed to rename successfully uploaded file "C:/WINDOWS/Temp/jitterbit/OpId_3_1c00d47a-e5a5-4551-8d6e-62511c81aeeb/d0b28171-27d0-4c99-8e3b-3a03bf1ce9f3" from "test.xml-upload" to "test.xml". Failed to rename file. Ftp rename failed. FTP: a quote command returned error. (Last response code: 550)

We are adding an option for this for FTP targets in version 1.2. We'll let you know when we have a beta-version ready for testing.

Cheers,

Thanks for your quick response! I'm very interested in testing the 1.2 beta when it becomes available.
