Test transformation is writing to Target

Postby beuten on Fri Oct 27, 2006 5:41 am

I am beta testing 1.2.0.19 server and client. I noticed that when I test a transformation the data is being written to the target (a database). I don't remember this happening before.

Is this a bug or can this be controlled somewhere?

Thanks and best regards,
Chad

PS. The webinar was very good. It still would be nice to get some detailed documentation regarding formulas for download. :)

Where did you get the beta from? I would like it. Thx.

NM, I just found the SVN on SourceForge.

The 1.2 documentation will include documentation for each function in the Formula Builder. This will also be available in our online help. We are currently working on finalizing the documentation format.

I've attached the current version of the function documentation as a ZIP file. It consists of a bunch of HTML files: one table-of-contents file called FormulaBuilderFunctions.html, and then one HTML file for each function category. You can use this as a reference for now.

Cheers,

Thanks Torgil! I'll take a look over the next couple days. Have you been able to confirm this potential bug or is that something Hendrik, Ilan or Emanuel will be looking at?

Steve, I think that Ilan said something in the Webinar about releasing the beta version in the next couple days, but you may want to write to the support email address if you have a specific problem that is resolved by the 1.2 version.
