Improve getting started information for linux

Postby nicanor on Sun Jul 01, 2007 4:35 am

I was able to get the client and server installed on my linux (Fedora) machine, I think. But it is not at all clear how to launch the client. The client RPM installed, but there there is no run.sh or similar in the local directory with the Install.html and there are no instructions I can find anywhere on how to actually launch the client on linux once the RPM is installed. (I plan to dig into the RPM details to try to discover this information, but I was really hoping to be trying out your product by now!)

From Install.html:

Running the Jitterbit client

The Jitterbit client is started by running the command:

jitterbit_client

Install.html should include all the information needed to get up and running with the client.
